Mayor Fedorov urged residents of Melitopol to immediately leave the occupied city through Crimea to Georgia

“We recommend that men under 35 immediately leave the occupied territory along the Crimea-Georgia route. Already today, at the enemy checkpoint in Vasilyevka, men aged 18 to 35 were not allowed to enter Zaporozhye. And this practice will continue,” the head of the city said.

According to Fedorov, the goal of the invaders is to mobilize Ukrainian men as “cannon fodder” to the front.

“In 2014, in the so-called LPR/DPR, the occupiers staged a real hunt for men. They will do the same to the TOT of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. It is necessary now either to try to leave towards Zaporozhye, or choose an alternative route – towards Georgia through the temporarily occupied Crimea. There is not much time left,” he said.

On Thursday in Melitopol there was an explosion near the central market. Fedorov said that the occupiers “staged a terrorist attack in a crowded place in order to accuse the Ukrainian authorities of terror on the eve of the pseudo-referendum.”

“Fear, terror and the liquidation of unwanted people are the three components that Russia is constantly demonstrating in the occupied territories. And before the pseudo-referendum, the purge among their own is intensifying, ”he wrote on Telegram.

According to him, the Russians in the central market of the city made an explosion and eliminated three soldiers.
