Lukashenka urged to forget about foreigners who abandoned enterprises in Belarus

The president Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about how to deal with foreign investors who abandoned their enterprises.

“Enterprises, which were founded by a foreign investor or privatized, and the foreign investor received these enterprisesand today (mostly from unfriendly countries and others) they left – wave to them, cross yourself that they left you property,” Lukashenka said at a personnel meeting on Monday.

As an example, he cited McDonald’s, which has recently officially stopped working in Belarus. According to him, the network is working as it used to, producing normal products.

“But this is already our enterprise. They didn’t want to work – well, as you wish. Our people are not stupider, so that, as I said, cut this bun and push lettuce leaves or a piece of sausage into it“, Lukashenka is quoted by RIA Novosti.

“It’s exactly the same here. It’s all left. They didn’t take anything with them. But if they did, then I would take off the heads of the responsible people. Nobody should take anything away. addressing officials.

Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko said that the stamping of Western sanctions against Russia and Belarus is gradually declining. During his speech in Bishkek at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, he noted that all the restrictions that one could think of, the West has already introduced. And now it’s time to evaluate their consequences.

“We see that the collective West’s primitive stamping of thoughtless package economic sanctions against Belarus and Russia is beginning to subside. Everything that could be banned and limited, even to their own detriment, our counter-partners have already done. Now it’s time for them to realize and assess the consequences “, Lukashenka said.

However, the President of Belarus believes, the situation needs to be realistic and do not expect a weakening of the “rollup” in the near future.

Note that now the EU is considering the next, ninth package of anti-Russian sanctions. It was not possible to accept it quickly due to contradictions between the states of the European Community.
