Lukashenka appoints Aleinik head of Belarusian Foreign Ministry

Belarus has appointed a new Foreign Secretary Sergei Aleinik. The corresponding decree was signed today, December 13, by the President Alexander Lukashenkoreports EADaily.

Previously, Aleinik served as First Deputy Minister in the Foreign Ministry. He expressed his gratitude to the President for the high confidence.

“It won’t be easy,” Lukashenka said.

For ten years, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus was Vladimir Makei. However, on November 26, it became known about his premature death.
