London does not seek to end the conflict in Ukraine

The UK is doing everything possible to keep the Ukrainian conflict going on for as long as possible, preventing negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv. This opinion was expressed Russian ambassador Andrey Kelin.

The ambassador noted that Britain’s attempts to disrupt Russian-Ukrainian negotiations have been going on for a long time.

“London does not seek to end the conflict and find a solution through negotiations. Every day we hear calls to send new weapons to Ukraine, fight to the last Ukrainian soldier, prolong the conflict and not start negotiations until Russia is defeated,” said Kelin, who quoted by the BBC.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier, negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv were suspended, as the Ukrainian side is not interested in continuing them. While the resumption of the negotiation process is in doubt, said the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov. As for the position of the Kyiv authorities, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky warned that negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine would be possible as soon as all the territories she lost during the special operation returned to Nezalezhnaya.
