The National Election Jury (JNE) reported that the fines for not going to vote this Sunday range between S/ 23 and S/ 92, while for not attending or refusing to hold the position of polling station member it is S/ 230. These economic sanctions will be applied in accordance with the table of electoral fines updated from a classification by locality and level of poverty established by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) and according to the Tax Unit (UIT) valid until 2022.
