The court in Tyumen sentenced local resident Eduard Shcherbakov to six months in a colony-settlement under the article about “fakes” about the Russian army. According to the investigative committee, Shcherbakov posted posts on the Internet that “contain deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.” What exactly the man wrote, the investigation did not specify. Shcherbakov was also found guilty under the article on the rehabilitation of Nazism – according to investigators, he sent an application with a photograph of the “Nazi criminal” to the Immortal Regiment website.


Ministry of Defense of Russia published lists of names of Ukrainian prisoners of war, allegedly killed and wounded as a result of a rocket attack on Volnovakha correctional colony No. 120 in the village of Yelenovka Volnovakhsky district of Donetsk region. In the list of the dead – 48 people, whose names are named; “two died on the way to the hospital,” their identities are being established, the Defense Ministry said. There are 73 names on the list of the wounded. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, there were 193 Ukrainian POWs in the colony at the time of the strike.
