A Syrian ship carrying stolen Ukrainian grain was detained in Lebanon.
It is reported by Ukrinform with reference to LBCI.
The Lebanese Prosecutor’s Office has detained the Laodikea vessel, which is moored in the port of Tripoli.
It is known that the ship was delayed for 72 hours. Permission for such a delay was received by the Embassy of Ukraine in Lebanon. They explain that the Russians loaded the grain on July 27 in the temporarily occupied Crimea. On the ship is barley, taken out of the Ukrainian territories seized by Russia.
At the same time, the Russian embassy in Lebanon is convinced that they allegedly have no information about the ship, and the embassy cynically calls Ukraine’s accusations “false and unfounded.”
As reported, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky said that the Russian invaders had already taken out several hundred thousand tons grain from temporarily occupied territories in Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
