Since the beginning of 2022, Ukrainian police have recorded 77 facts of human trafficking, 26 of which are related to sexual exploitation.

“Since the beginning of the year, the police have documented 77 facts of human trafficking. Among them there are 26 facts of sexual exploitation and 28 of labor exploitation,” the report says.
At the same time, the police noted that the main tips on how not to become a victim of human trafficking, find a job safely in Ukraine and abroad, recognize potential intruders and whom to contact for help can be found through Chatbot “Stay Safe”
In turn, the department advised citizens, if they became a victim of human trafficking, to try by all possible means to inform someone about it in order to receive proper assistance.

As reported, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović said that Europe is not protected from human trafficking and must use all tools to prevent this phenomenon.
