Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgar Rinkevich urged the EU prohibit Russians from issuing tourist visas. According to the minister, this must be done because Russia has become a “sponsor of terrorism.”
“The EU should consider Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, I repeat the proposal for the EU to introduce a ban on tourist visas for Russian citizens,” Rinkevich said.
What was the answer to the request of the Latvian Foreign Ministry in the European Union is still unknown. However, Latvia was not the first country to make such a proposal.
Earlier, Pravda.Ru wrote that in Finland they urged not to let Russians into the country, even those who have nothing to do with special military operation in Ukraine.
