Kyiv received NASAMS air defense systems

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the United States supplied Kyiv with NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems.

He also noted that every month Washington allocates $1.5 billion to the Kyiv authorities to support the budget. The head of the Independent said this in an interview with the TV channel CBS.

“We received NASAMS. These are air defense systems. But, believe me, this is not even close to enough,” Zelensky said.

The Pentagon at the end of the summer stressed that it intends to provide Kyiv with up to $775 million in military assistance, as well as provide shells for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.

Earlier, Zelensky said he was shocked by the lack of air defense supplies from Israel.
