Kravchuk worked daily for the formation and development of Ukraine – Shmygal
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal expressed condolences on the death of the first President of independent Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, noting that he worked every day for the formation and development of our state
According to Ukrinform, the head of government wrote about this in his Telegram.
“The first President of independent Ukraine, Leonid Makarovich Kravchuk, has died. It was he who in 1991 signed the Decree of the Verkhovna Rada on the declaration of independence of Ukraine. And every day I worked for its formation and development,” Shmygal wrote.
The prime minister expressed sincere condolences to Kravchuk’s family and friends.
As Ukrinform reported, the first President of Ukraine, the first Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Leonid Kravchuk, passed away at the age of 88.
