Krakovets checkpoint reopened for cars after repair

On the western border of Ukraine, the movement of cars through the Krakovets checkpoint to exit to Poland has been resumed.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Telegram.

“Today, from 08:00 through the checkpoint” Krakovets “of the Lviv region, the movement of cars to leave for Poland was resumed,” the message says.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that in order to cross the border by passenger cars, 6 pavilions of border and customs control were installed at the checkpoint and covers were equipped for comfortable border crossing by citizens.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the construction of a terminal for passing passenger buses is still ongoing.

“The resumption of the movement of buses to travel to Poland will be announced additionally,” the ministry added.

As reported, on July 18, repair work began at the Krakovets checkpoint, in connection with which the passage of cars to leave Ukraine was temporarily stopped.
