Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko gave the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Germany and the Netherlands Annalene Berbock and Wopke Hoekstra a walk along Volodymyr’s Hill
Klitschko announced this in Telegram, reports Ukrinform.
“Today I met with the Foreign Ministers of Germany and the Netherlands – Annalena Berbock and Wopke Hoekstra. During the conversation, I stressed that today there should be a unified position of Europe on the issue of abandoning Russian energy resources, with which Russia has long blackmailed the EU countries and turned gas and oil into political tool,” the mayor said.
He thanked the European partners for their support and assistance: financial, military, political. In particular, Germany – for supporting the European aspirations of Ukraine and its full membership in the European Union, and also for the fact that Germany, as Burbock said, will provide Ukraine with comprehensive support in the investigation of war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine.
“This is important! Russia’s crimes against humanity must be punished,” Klitschko stressed.
According to him, he thanked Wopke Hoekstra for the fact that, along with Germany, the Netherlands will provide Ukraine with heavy weapons, in particular, howitzers.
In conclusion, Klitschko gave the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Germany and the Netherlands a short tour – a walk along the Volodymyr’s Hill.
As reported, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Germany are in Ukraine on May 10.
