The killer of activist Irina Nozdrovska was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

“… The man was sentenced for premeditated murder committed with particular cruelty (clause 4, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to 15 years in prison,” the report says.
According to the UCP, prosecutors proved in court that in December 2017 in the village of Demidov, Kyiv region, at a public transport stop, a man with a knife attacked the victim, inflicted a significant number of blows on her face and neck. After that, he threw the body into the river near the village. The woman died as a result of numerous stab wounds.
At the request of the prosecutor’s office during the judicial investigation, the convict was in custody.
As Ukrinform reported, on January 1, 2018, the body of human rights activist and lawyer Irina Nozdrovskaya with stab wounds on her neck was found in the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region.
On January 8, 2018, the police announced the arrest of a resident of the Kyiv region on suspicion of the murder of Nozdrovska.
On the evening of January 9, the Vyshgorodsky court detained the main suspect, Yuri Rossoshansky, for two months.
It is known that Nozdrovskaya personally handled the case of an accident in which her sister died. The main suspect in the accident was Dmitry Rossoshansky, the son of Yuri Rossoshansky.
