This is the case of the Pacto Histórico, a coalition of various parties led by President Gustavo Petro and which seeks to consolidate its political strength throughout the country.

The Historical Pact had “two important chips” to reach at least the Mayor of Bogotá, which is the second most important position in the country. Among them was Congressman David Racero, who indicated that he was not going to give up his presidency in the House of Representatives for now.
