James Bond’s iconic Aston Martin sold at auction

A replica Aston Martin DB5 used for stunts in the James Bond blockbuster ‘No Time To Die’ sold at auction on Wednesday 28 September for nearly £3 million, auction house Christie’s said.

The money ($3.18 million) will be donated to the charity along with proceeds from the sale of 24 other lots from the 007 Special 60th Anniversary Item Sale.

The replica even has “machine guns” that are hidden behind the headlights, writes France 24.

A replica of the iconic Aston, one of eight cars specifically designed and built for the 2021 film, is the only DB5 stunt car for sale by Aston Martin and EON Productions, according to Christie’s.

Other items on sale include cars, as well as famous franchise-related costumes and accessories.
