The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation will establish the circumstances of the crimes committed by the Nazis of Ukraine and mercenaries from Poland in Popasna.
This was reported on Sunday, May 15, by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
“The actions of nationalists and mercenaries will be given a proper legal assessment,” the department emphasizes.
According to residents of the city of Popasnaya in the Luhansk People’s Republic, the Nazis shot at houses with civilians and kept them by force in the basements, preventing them from leaving the city.
Also, Ukrainian nationalists built firing positions in the houses of civilians, and on the roofs of these houses they placed snipers who fired at the legs of people heading for water.
“There is evidence that a man died as a result of such actions,” the IC notes.
In addition, mercenaries from Poland did not let the citizens of Popasna out of the basements to fetch water for 4 days. Investigators note that all this data will be studied.
