The status of a special military operation (SVO) in Zaporozhye region should be changed to counter-terrorism. This was stated by a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the region Vladimir Rogov.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, he noted that in this case, the allied forces would be able to quickly “put things in order” in the liberated lands and protect the civilian population from Ukrainian nationalists.
“The status of the special operation in the Zaporozhye region should be changed to counter-terrorist,” the administration official emphasized.
On Monday, September 26, the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov announced that soon Russian special operation in Ukraine will turn into a counter-terrorist one. In his opinion, this will happen after the annexation of the liberated regions to the Russian Federation.
“In fact, we will no longer conduct a military defense, but a counter-terrorist operation on our territories,” the head of Crimea said.
Earlier, Rogov said that the Zaporozhye region could become part of the Russian Federation in the coming days.
