In the ports of “Odessa” and “Chernomorsk” 10 ships with grain are already ready for dispatch

The ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk have already loaded 17 vessels, of which 10 are ready for shipment.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure in Telegram.

“Today, the delegation of the Ministry of Infrastructure, together with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the ambassadors of the G7, Turkey and UN representatives inspected the process of loading the first ships within the framework of the “grain” initiative signed in Istanbul. In particular, 17 vessels have already been loaded in the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk, 10 of which are already ready for shipment.

Grain exports will begin with the departure of several ships that were loaded but were unable to leave the port due to the start of a full-scale Russian invasion.

“For the first time since February 24, work has been resumed in the seaports of Ukraine. Vessels that were loaded with grain in the winter are ready to leave as soon as our partners, the UN and Turkey agree on a” green corridor “in the direction of the Bosphorus,” said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 22 in Istanbul, at the proposal of the United Nations of Ukraine, Turkey and UN Secretary General António Guteres signed the Initiative for the safe transportation of grain and food from the Ukrainian ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny.
