In the palace of culture of Kakhovka, the occupiers appointed an apple seller as a “director” and “twist” propaganda films

About it Center for Investigative Journalism learned from their own sources.

Once, Belouschenko headed the long-defunct local Blucher cinema and the Ekran utility company of the Kakhovka City Council, which was liquidated in early 2014.

A part of the staff of the MPK Meliorator agreed to work under her “leadership” and serve the needs of the Russian occupiers. In particular, Galina Shestakova, head of the studio of soloists-vocalists “Tauride singers”, Vladimir Rudik, head of the Verbichenka folk vocal ensemble, and Vladimir Marakin, head of the brass band.

“Of all these people, cooperation with the occupiers Shestakova and Rudik was not surprising. The first has always been quite scandalous and, it seems, still does not understand well what is happening in the country in general. And Rudik’s wife Marina works at the Kakhovka School of Arts. She was already involved in organizing propaganda activities for the invaders. But what about Vladimir Marakin is very annoying. This is a talented person who taught many people how to play musical instruments. We still want to think that this is some kind of mistake, that no, but not him, ”said the employees of the IPC Meliorator.

The only “achievement” of the invaders in the captured palace of culture is the daily screenings of propaganda films made in Russia and the Soviet Union. Even though they are free, these sessions do not generate much interest among the locals.

The material was prepared by the Information Press Center NGO within the framework of the project IWPR with the support of the European Union and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At 4 am on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in the occupied Donbas. Russia launched missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine and launched a direct full-scale invasion in four directions. The armed forces of Ukraine are rebuffing the enemy, the blitzkrieg plan – to capture Kyiv in two or three days – failed, the Russian army retreated from the capital. The Russian military commits thousands of war crimes and crimes against humanity throughout Ukraine.
