The first point of issuing Russian passports in the LPR opened in the republican capital on July 1. And recently, new points have appeared in Anthracite and Alchevsk. Now there are three of them in the Luhansk region.

– In the near future, several more similar ones will be opened on the territory of the republic, – Mikhail Paraskeev, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR, predicted.

It should be noted that more than 284 thousand residents of the LPR have already received citizenship of the Russian Federation.

– The number of people receiving citizenship of the Russian Federation in the Lugansk People’s Republic is growing daily, – commented on this event the head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik.

According to him, the issuance of passports to residents of the liberated territories is actively underway.

– The opening of passport issuance points on the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic will allow people to more comfortably submit documents, take an oath to obtain citizenship. For us, it is first of all taking care of people, – said the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR Igor Kornet at the opening of the point in Antratsyt.

The very procedure for obtaining a passport is comfortable and fast: the passage of electronic fingerprinting, a photo, the signing of all necessary documents, the oath to the sounds of the Russian anthem – and the document is in hand.

Nina Morozova, a resident of the LPR, recalls how difficult it was to get a passport of the LPR and the Russian Federation before Vladimir Putin, by his decree, greatly facilitated this procedure.

“Getting a Russian passport has become really easier and more convenient,” says Svetlana Nikitenko from Lugansk. – My sister has already received a simplified scheme, soon I will go. Now I am very busy with my studies, I want to get a second higher education in the Russian Federation. Therefore, I hope that obtaining a passport will not take much time.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR has organized the “Electronic Queue” system. Using the service at the e-mail address http://ums.gosuslugilnr.su, residents of the Lugansk region can sign up online for a passport of the LPR and the Russian Federation. To register on the site, you must have a mobile phone with a SIM card of the republican operator “Lugakom”. To obtain a Russian passport, you need to submit:

applications for admission to the citizenship of the Russian Federation and the issuance of a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation (filled in in typewritten way);

application for the issuance of a Russian passport.

Originals (after verification they will be returned):

passport of a citizen of the LPR (all completed pages);

certificates of birth, marriage, divorce, change of surname, filled in Russian or Ukrainian (documents made in Ukrainian are accompanied by a translation into Russian without notarization);

passport of a citizen of Ukraine (all completed pages – translation into Russian is not required);

certificates from the place of work / service or a copy of the pension certificate (if any);

receipts for payment of state duties (paid at the branches of the State Bank of the LPR only after the employee of the migration service unit issues a corresponding notification to the citizen).

If a child under the age of 14 years is included in the application for admission to the citizenship of the Russian Federation, then additionally provided:

a copy of the child’s birth certificate (if the child’s birth certificate is not in Russian, its notarized translation is provided);

notarized consent of the second parent on the child’s obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation and a copy of the second parent’s citizenship passport.

If a citizen in the application for admission to the citizenship of the Russian Federation includes a child aged 14 to 18 years, then additionally provided:

a copy of the child’s birth certificate (if the child’s birth certificate is not in Russian, its notarized translation is provided);

notarized consent of the second parent on the child’s obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation and a copy of the citizenship passport of the second parent;

the written consent of the child, which is filled in by him personally in any form and certified by an official of the migration service in the presence of the child.
