In the Kherson region, the invaders take local residents hostage for forced participation in staged filming.

This was reported in Facebook Deputy Director of the Center for Middle East Studies Sergey Danilov, Ukrinform reports.

“The Russians have started taking people hostage for forced participation in staged filming,” the report says.

In particular, as eyewitnesses report, the invaders threw one younger family member “into the basement.” Relatives were told that they would be released if the whole family took Russian passports and participated in the propaganda under cameras on a call. “There is no other way to find people for Russian propaganda in the Kherson region,” Danilov said.

As Ukrinform reported, in the Kherson region, the enemy is blocking the “green corridors”, the evacuation. The invaders are kidnapping civilians in the region and have tightened their filtration measures. On May 30 they turned off in the Kherson region Internet and mobile communications from Ukrainian operators.

The Russian aggressor is forcing the relatives of the people they abducted to apply for a Russian passport, and a powerful propaganda indoctrination of the population is also working.
