In the Kharkiv region, the Russians mined a children’s bed during the retreat
In the Kharkiv region, employees of the State Emergency Service, examining houses in the territory liberated from Russian troops, discovered that the Russians mined a child’s bed during the retreat.
Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv OVA, said this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.
“We fixed the mined children’s beds – that is, under the mattress of the children’s bed there was a device that would detonate if someone lay on this bed. Cynicism is off scale, and we must very carefully examine every meter of our liberated territory,” Sinegubov stressed.
As Ukrinform reported, in the Kharkiv region, facts were recorded of installation by Russian invaders of booby traps with trip wires at civilian infrastructure facilities.
According to Oleg Bondar, head of the Department for the Organization of Pyrotechnic Works and Humanitarian Demining of the State Emergency Service, based on international experience, demining Ukrainian territories can take from 5 to 10 years.
