Near the village of Olkhovka, Kharkiv region, during agricultural work in the field, a combine was blown up by an anti-tank mine, as a result of which a fire broke out, the driver was injured.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region reports this in Facebook.
The incident was reported to the Rescue Service today, July 30, at 13.21.
According to the State Emergency Service, the driver of the combine, a man born in 1978, was injured in the explosion. The victim was taken to a hospital by an emergency medical team.
Also because of the explosion, the combine and stubble caught fire. The area covered by fire was 60 square meters. m.
Rescuers extinguished the fire. In addition, sappers of the State Emergency Service, who examined the surrounding area, worked at the scene. No other explosive items were found.
Employees of the State Emergency Service urge farmers to be careful and take into account that part of the fields, forests and other land plots remain unexplored due to active hostilities.
As Ukrinform reported, on July 29, a combine harvester and cars with civilians were blown up by mines in the Velykopisarevskaya community of the Akhtyrsky district of the Sumy region. It is known about one dead and four wounded.
