As a result of the hostilities, the Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region were left without electricity, and 115 Toretsk miners were left underground.

This was reported in Telegram Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kirilenko, Ukrinform reports.

“Emergency protection worked on the 330 kV main power line – the Central Electric Substation of NEK Ukrenergo in the Toretsk region was de-energized and, as a result, the settlements of the Bakhmut and Kramatorsk regions. In addition, 115 Toretsk miners remained underground: 112 at the Tsentralnaya mine, 3 at the Toretskaya mine,” the head of the OVA wrote.

Mine administrations are taking the necessary measures to bring the miners to the surface.

Work to restore power supply has already begun, it is necessary to eliminate about two dozen wire breaks.

Due to a power outage, the water supply from Filtration Stations No. 1 and No. 2 of the Second Donetsk Water Pipeline was stopped – Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka, Toretsk and nearby settlements were without water.

The head of the OVA emphasized that in the conditions of active hostilities, interruptions in the supply of electricity and water are inevitable, and once again urged people to evacuate.
