“Employees of the division of the organization for the prevention of illegal migration, readmission and expulsion of the UGTS in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, in cooperation with police operatives, identified a 46-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation who was on the territory of Ukraine in violation of migration legislation. The name of the 46-year-old Russian is included in the list of persons against whom the application of special sanctions is provided on the basis of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council “On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”, the Migration Service of the region noted.

It is noted that a native of Russia entered Ukraine at the end of 2017. On the basis of marriage with a citizen of Ukraine, he received a temporary residence permit in our country.

“At a certain time, this person did not leave Ukraine, lived in one of the regions of Ukraine with an invalid passport and without any legal grounds for legal stay on the territory of Ukraine,” the Migration Service says.

As already established, this citizen of the Russian Federation is accused of committing a number of crimes of a violent and property nature on the territory of Ukraine and, according to law enforcement officers, is considered a subject of criminal influence, and his continued stay in Ukraine may have a negative impact on public order and threaten the interests of ensuring national security Ukraine, especially in the conditions of armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

A report on an administrative offense was drawn up against a foreigner in connection with the commission of an offense under Part 1 of Article 203 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

In addition, by a court decision, a citizen of the Russian Federation was placed in a specialized institution for the temporary stay of foreigners.

In the future, employees of the Migration Service intend to go to court with a demand for the forced expulsion of a Russian from Ukraine.

As reported, since the beginning of 2022, employees of the migration service have identified 92 illegal migrants in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
