In Mariupol temporarily captured by Russian troops, collaborators inflate the city’s population in order to steal from humanitarian aid.

According to Ukrinform, about this in Telegram said the Mariupol City Council.

“Collaborators inflate the population of Mariupol in order to steal from humanitarian aid. The so-called “authority” of Mariupol began to declare that more than 200 thousand people live in the city. Although the actual number of Mariupol residents remaining in the city does not exceed 120 thousand. This is done for the sole purpose of stealing and earning at the expense of civilians,” the report says.

The city council explained that collaborators receive almost 2.4 thousand humanitarian aid, but at the humanitarian point of the Metro shopping center they give out no more than 2 thousand.

“From our own sources, it is known that the occupation authorities, represented by the traitor Ivashchenko, sell the left bundles at a markup of 200-300% in their own grocery stores. Here is such a “scheme” of earning money on the inhabitants of Mariupol under the approval of the Russian occupiers,” the city council said.

As reported, Russian aggression caused one of the greatest humanitarian disasters in Mariupol. The city is almost completely destroyed as a result of enemy shelling.

Mariupol today without a normal supply of electricity, water, gas. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, about 22,000 civilians have died in the city. More than 50 thousand were deported to Russia and the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region.

Currently, more than 100 thousand residents remain in the blocked city. Mariupol is threatened by an ecological catastrophe and an outbreak of infectious diseases.

Residents of the city are resisting the “authorities” – they are distributing stickers and postcards with Ukrainian symbols around the city.
