In Kyiv, from today, ground public transport will stop for the duration of the air raid, passengers must leave the cabin and go to the nearest shelter.
According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv City State Administration reports this in Telegram.
“Ground public transport, including private carriers, during an air raid will stop traffic in a safe place in accordance with the Rules of the Road,” the message says.
The Kyiv City State Administration noted that the metro still will not carry out transportation through ground sections during the air raid and will close the work of open-type stations.
The corresponding decision of the Kyiv Defense Council will be valid from today.
The city authorities urge the people of Kiev not to neglect air raid signals and observe the curfew.
A map of the capital’s hideouts is posted on Official portal of Kyivas well as in the application “Kyiv Digital”.
As Ukrinform reported, as of July 25, 400 suburban and intercity bus routes have resumed operation in the Kyiv region.
