In Kazakhstan, a married couple was sentenced to five years in prison for supporting the “Russian world” and the belief that the northern part of the country should be annexed to Russia. A family from Petropavlovsk (a Russian-speaking city in the north of Kazakhstan) became defendants in the criminal case after participating in the chat roulette of the Ukrainian blogger from Cherkassy “Mykola”. Mykola asked his interlocutors about the belonging of the Crimea and the need to learn the Ukrainian language for Ukrainians and Kazakh for Kazakhstanis.
