Currently, work is underway to replace windows and double-glazed windows. We are also negotiating with the Red Cross. They promise to help with the repair of the roof. We plan to complete everything by winter,” said Vladimir Vinnitsky, Deputy General Director for Technical Issues of the KNP Maternity Hospital of the Chernihiv City Council.
Currently, work is underway to restore the hospital building: window blocks and doors are being replaced, external and internal slopes and window sills are being equipped. Work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
The OVA informed that the government allocated UAH 250 million for the urgent restoration of critical infrastructure and for carrying out priority non-capital repairs in the region. The total estimated cost of repairing the maternity hospital is about UAH 2 million.
