In the city of Bucha, Kyiv region, children collected UAH 7,000 for washing cars for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a week, part of the funds were transferred to the United24 fundraising platform.
According to Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this in his Telegram.
“Yesterday, at the Dronarium drone school, I met three cool guys from Bucha. Kirill, Vlad and Maxim organized a car wash in their hometown to raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Fedorov said.
According to him, in just two days, washing car headlights, children collected 2.5 thousand hryvnia, in a week – already 7 thousand.
Part of the funds raised was transferred to the United24 platform through “Diya”.
“It’s great that the guys not only help the defenders, but also inspire other children to do good deeds. Now all the cars in Bucha will definitely be clean,” the minister added.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of July 26, more than UAH 2.3 billion remained on a special account to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
