There are no motorists who would calmly react to any creak. And here it doesn’t matter at all what exactly makes this sound: an opening door or brake pads. The desire to get rid of it intensifies as the creaking gets louder and longer. Let’s figure out how and with what to lubricate the brakes so that they work silently.
The list of products in this group is huge. In addition, such products are designed to lubricate only some parts of the brake mechanisms, which greatly complicates the selection process.
It is important to know that all products of the above group can be divided into three types:
- Means for processing brake pistons when assembling the mechanism.

Means for non-working surfaces of the car
In this case, we consider lubricants for non-working surfaces of brake pads and frames of the brake structure. Most often, all funds are created on a mineral basis.

The above treatment agents have a number of advantages compared to lithols and graphite lubricants: they are able to cope with high temperatures, do not wash off and practically do not mix with penetrating dirt. The last group includes lubricants that are used to install the piston in the cylinder. At the moment, there is only one such composition.
Castor oil with a low dropping point is taken as the basis of this remedy. It is used only for installation work and will be required for those people whose professional activities are related to the maintenance and repair of brake mechanisms.
