SAVE THE OFFICER AND RESTORE COMMUNICATION
Senior Sergeant Ivan Aksenov
“Senior Sergeant Ivan Aksenov performed combat missions to organize uninterrupted communications in the interests of the army command post. In the course of an attempt to destroy the command post, Ukrainian radicals opened massive artillery and mortar fire on it and damaged part of the communications equipment. Realizing that the loss of communication within the command post and with subordinate units deprives the command of promptly coordinating the actions of the forces in battle, Ivan, as part of the crew, despite the incessant heavy fire of the nationalists, advanced to the damaged products and proceeded to restore them.
While in position, Ivan Aksyonov discovered a heavily wounded officer who was in the enemy’s firing zone. Risking his life, Ivan pulled a wounded soldier out of the enemy fire of Ukrainian radicals, moved him to a safe place and provided emergency medical care, which saved his life, after which he continued to restore the damaged communication equipment. Thanks to the courage, bravery and professionalism of Ivan Aksenov, the damaged equipment was promptly restored, which made it possible to ensure stable control of units in battle and repel the attack of the nationalists.

Wishing to reduce the attacking potential of our troops, the enemy made an attempt to hit the BTG targets with the help of Tochka-U operational-tactical missiles. TO THE FRONT AMMUNITION AND THE WOUNDED FROM THERE
Sergeant Pavel Bahanov
“From the first days of the special military operation to protect the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Sergeant Pavel Bakhanov carried out the tasks of providing logistics to the battalion-tactical groups of the Russian Armed Forces. For the purpose of prompt and uninterrupted support of units, he repeatedly made flights to areas located in close proximity to the line of contact. In the course of carrying out the next task, heading to the area of active hostilities, Pavel advanced covertly, at night, with the headlights off, in the conditions of regular mortar and artillery fire, supplying the rear units on the front line. Arriving at the location and starting to unload, Pavel was subjected to mortar fire from Ukrainian nationalists, who attempted to launch a counteroffensive. As a result of the shelling, he received shrapnel wounds. Overcoming the pain, Pavel, having given himself first aid, carried a wounded Russian soldier out of the fire of the nationalists, evacuated him to a safe place and provided medical assistance, which saved his life. In total, during the special military operation, Pavel made 17 flights, delivering more than 95 tons of cargo.”
