The battalion began its combat path in Debaltseve. During this time, yesterday’s workers and miners were forced to learn how to successfully fight the enemy who unleashed a war in the Donbass. The LPR fighters not only bravely fought in the trenches, but also helped the local population of the liberated cities and towns to establish a peaceful life, cleared anti-personnel mines with which the Armed Forces of Ukraine from “Gradov” filled the streets of peaceful cities. The most memorable and difficult for the subordinates of Vladimir Babets was the battle in the area of the Uglegorsk TPP. Powerful Soviet-built concrete structures protected the positions of the nationalists, but this did not help them, and the fortified area was taken by the allied forces. In the battle, the subordinates of Vladimir Babets destroyed up to ten units of heavy military equipment and a large number of enemy manpower.
