Germany is working with its enterprises to ensure that Ukraine receives the most modern weapons.
This was stated by German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock at a joint briefing with her Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We will strongly support your country militarily as well. This means that in addition to what we have already supplied, in a few days we will begin training Ukrainian soldiers, training in the use of mobile howitzers. We are working with German enterprises to ensure that Ukraine receives the most modern weapons and can defend its cities from future attacks,” Burbock said.
She also noted that Germany would help Ukraine with mine clearance.
As Ukrinform reported, German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock visited Irpen and Bucha during her visit to Ukraine on May 10.
