… – Gennady Grigorievich, you, as the head of the Donbass Association in the capital, probably already yesterday and today managed to talk with fellow countrymen – here in Moscow, and call the DPR, LPR, Novorossia … You can understand what kind of mood reigns there now.

– Yes.

As for the assessments of what happened on Friday, September 30, there are also complete specifics on this score.

You have probably seen the figures of who expressed their desire to live as part of Russia in referendums. And the highest figure is in Donetsk. (99.23 percent of voters voted for the entry of the DPR into the Russian Federation. – A.G.) Everything is clear here.

But I would like to take a broader look at the problems facing today and draw attention to some points in President Vladimir Putin’s address, which was made before the signing of historic documents.

In my opinion, what Vladimir Vladimirovich spoke about was addressed to the whole world, and not only to Russia.

In essence, this is a document that is dedicated not only to a specific event that took place on September 30th.

This is the political strategy of our state.

And the assessments contained in the appeal – in the context of contemporary events – sound very understandable and clear, and answer a lot of questions.

– What exactly do you mean?

– Well, firstly, there is an idea that the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 due to the actions of – well, not so much the so-called collective West, but the United States of America. (Of course, the responsibility for this, first of all, lies with the political leadership of the USSR.)

The second thing that was said here and that knocks the ground out from under the feet of our liberal democrats, yearning for the 1990s… It’s no secret that some ministries were then commanded by “consultants from the West.” And it was a tragedy that, let’s call a spade a spade, cast doubt on the existence of our state.

Not only the Soviet Union, but also the Russian Federation as such.

The next thing I would like to draw attention to…

The president’s address sounds alarm not only about the residents of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye, but also about the fate of the Ukrainian nation as such. For the sake of the political ambitions of the criminal Kyiv regime, thousands of Ukrainians are thrown into the furnace of war.

Well, of course, I think that this is not only a foreign policy document, it is primarily for our internal use. I believe that it should be made, if not a history textbook, but also through this prism to look at the teaching of history in schools … And not only.

Well, as for Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye.

Together we will have to restore the industry, restore the former economic strength and glory of these regions.

And to my countrymen (Gennady Onishchenko graduated from the Donetsk Medical Institute. – A.G.) I would like to say the following …

The main thing is that you and I were and remain part of that people who can stand up for themselves and who see and realize their prospects.

So, I congratulate everyone, first of all, the residents of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions on joining Russia.

And to all of you – many thanks for the heroism that was shown both at the fronts and in the cities and villages through which our front line also passes.

– Thank you very much, Gennady Grigorievich. Happy holiday to you!

– You too. Thank you.
