General Gurulyov urged to change the approach to the special operation

Russia should change its approach to conducting a special operation in Ukraine after the announcement of partial mobilization. This opinion was expressed by Lieutenant General, a member of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrey Gurulev.

According to him, in order to prevent the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), one battalion does not need to “rush around” along the entire front. He believes that combat operations should be carried out by entire regiments, divisions and armies.

“We need to reconsider the approach itself,” Gurulyov emphasized.

On Wednesday, September 28, the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said that only the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin may decide to change special operation format.

Formerly a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the Zaporozhye region Vladimir Rogov called for the introduction of a counter-terrorist status in the region, which would quickly “put things in order” and protect the population from nationalists.
