Starting from 2035 sold in the European Union new cars should not produce harmful emissions. On the night of Wednesday, June 29, the Ministers of the EU countries responsible for environmental protection.

Now a compromise must be reached with the European Parliament, which wants from 2035 completely ban the sale of new cars with internal combustion engines.

According to a representative of the German government, the European Commission is ready to propose that even after the agreed date, cars with ICEbut only those running on climate-friendly fuel, dpa reports.

Now representatives of individual EU countries and the European Parliament must negotiate to agree on a common position.
