Four Chinese J-16 fighter jets entered the Taiwan Air Defense Identification Zone.

China sends air force planes to the Taiwan air defense identification zone on an almost regular basis – often no more than five per day, sometimes their number exceeds 20 pieces. So, on July 15, the Taiwan Defense Ministry reported that it spotted ten fighters, and on June 23 – 22 aircraft.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has repeatedly called the Taiwan issue the most sensitive in relations with the USA. In the past couple of days, the situation has been complicated by rumors around the likely visit to the island of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
