Former Spartak player Lovchev advised critics of Russia’s transition to the AFC “not to show off”

Former Spartak football player Evgeny Lovchev shared his opinion on the possible withdrawal of the Russian Football Union ( RFS ) from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the transition to the Asian Confederation. His words are reported by Sport-Express.

“When we say that the AFC is not good for us, fear God… Today our team is rather weak. Which Asian is weaker? We cannot show anything with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Where are ours? Kokorin, who started in Italy, and is now in Cyprus … It’s not for us to show off now, ”said Love.

Recall that the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to remove the Russian national team, as well as all Russian clubs from participating in all competitions controlled by these organizations.

On December 27, the executive committee of the RFU was supposed to vote on the transition to the Asian conference. According to the organization, the meeting has been postponed, but the final decision on this issue will be made by December 31, 2022.

Earlier, the former Spartak football player Valery Gladilin shared his opinion about the possible transition of the RFU to the Asian Confederation.
