Flooding in Iran claimed fifty lives

Floods in several regions of Iran have killed at least 53 people.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, this is reported by Xinhua.

It is noted that another 16 people are missing.

So far, 3,000 people have been urgently provided with housing and another 1,300 have been moved to safe places.

About 3,000 rescuers are involved in various rescue operations throughout the country.

The storm destroyed at least one bridge and several roads, while telecommunications and power networks also suffered temporary outages. Total from floods 300 communities in 20 provinces were affected.

According to forecasts of meteorologists, showers will continue in the country until Monday.
