President of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine (FBU) Mykhailo Brodsky appealed to the CEO (Chief Executive Director) of the FIBA Champions League Patrick Comminos with a request to provide the most titled Ukrainian club Budivelnyk with a place in the group stage of the tournament in the 2022/23 season.

Brodsky notedthat Ukraine will not have the opportunity to hold a full-fledged championship this season, Ukrinform reports.

“The war continues in Ukraine, and we do not know when it will end. But for us it is already clear that Ukraine will not have the opportunity to hold a full-fledged championship this season.
