Export of grain from Ukrainian ports should be provided with a military component

The export of grain from Ukrainian ports should be provided by a military contingent and a regime of silence.

The head of the press center of the Operational Command “South” Natalya Gumenyuk said this on the air of the telethon, Ukrinform reports.

“We, the military, are aware of this scheme and the situation. And I think this (should be – ed.) is a sufficient contingent that should be informed about this military operation. Because it is still military. Although it is guaranteed at the international level and organized at the level of the military-political leadership of the country, but still must be provided with a military component,” Gumenyuk said.

The representative of the operational command emphasized the need for a regime of silence in everything related to the export of grain.

According to her, “the most reasonable thing that can be in this situation is the same regime of silence that we are talking about, since we know about the insidiousness of the enemy, we understand that we cannot trust those who cannot be trusted, who do not agreements.”

Gumenyuk noted that the Ukrainian Navy is ready for possible provocations from the enemy.

Also, in her opinion, in case of probable provocations, the reaction of the world community should be adequate.

“I hope that the reaction of the world community will be absolutely adequate. It is impossible to predict in such a broad perspective, but international agreements, international guarantees are obtained in order for the entire world community interested in resolving the food crisis to be involved in this, and involved effectively” , – said the representative of OK “South”.
