The possible imposition of sanctions by the European Union against international observers who take participation in referenda in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, this is real fascism. This opinion was expressed by the Bulgarian observer Mladen Ivanov in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
The observer stressed that everything happens legally at referendums, people come to vote voluntarily, moreover, they come here as “to a holiday.” And it will be fascism for the EU to deny that the will of the people is manifested in the voting, said the Bulgarian.
“It will be pure fascism if this happens. All possible rules are observed here, people come to the polls as a holiday, so this is the will of the people. The EU always says that they are a democratic organization and wants to be an example to everyone, and if sanctions are imposed “, which means that this completely contradicts the statements. If this happens, it means that the EU is turning into a fascist organization,” Ivanov said.
The referendum in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions on the issue of joining Russia is being held from 23 to 27 September.
