As reported, on June 13, Energoatom President Petr Kotin stated that the amount of damage caused by the Russian aggressor was estimated at about UAH 40 billion. These are buildings destroyed during shelling and fires, damaged equipment at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, as well as losses from a forced reduction in electricity production.
Zaporozhye NPP and Energodar have been temporarily seized by the aggressor since March 4. At the site of the nuclear power plant, in addition to the military of the Russian Federation, representatives of Rosatom have been illegally staying for a long time.
