Dollar: opening price today November 22 in Argentina

After the opening of markets the American dollar is quoted today at 163.17 interbank Argentine pesos which implied a change of 0.06% with respect to the figure of the previous session, when it traded at 163.08 interbank Argentine pesos on average.

In the last seven days, the American dollar scores a promotion from 0.44%so that from a year ago it still maintains an increase in the 50.21%.

Regarding the changes of this day with respect to past dates, being unable to consolidate a stable trend in recent days. In the last week the volatility is 1.81%, which is a figure clearly lower than the annual volatility data (4.59%), so that its price is presenting fewer variations than normal in recent dates.

The Argentine peso in trouble

The economy of Argentina, the third economic power in Latin America, could slow down and grow 3% this year according to the IMF, after having had a 10% advance in 2021.
