The 9th part of the New Year’s film “Yolki” was released in Russian rentals. The director of the project, Evgeny Kulik, explained to reporters the great success of the picture with the audience.
According to Yevgeny, no matter what, the Russians want to see a New Year’s fairy tale, where there is a lot of kindness and laughter. Not a small role in the promotion of the film was played by “word of mouth”, as the director believes.
“Before the New Year, people probably want something kind, warm. We also completely updated the franchise, created a new movie, we have new faces. And, of course, the” sundress “works well – people tell each other about the film,” Kulik says.
By the way, in the new part of “Yolok” viewers will not see the seemingly non-replaceable Sergei Svetlakov and Ivan Urgant. The director of the picture explains this by the fact that it was decided to attract new faces for the updated franchise. But in the film, Evgeny Kulik himself will play and Fyodor Dobronravov, who has already fallen in love with all of Russia for the role of Ivan Budko in the series “Matchmakers”, will play.
