Denmark urged India to convince Russia to end special operation

Head of Government of Denmark Mette Frederiksen turned to Indian colleague Narendra Modi with a request to influence Moscow. This is necessary for the Russian authorities to complete the military special operation to enforce peace in Ukraine, the politician noted.

“I hope that India will have an impact on Russia,” the prime minister stressed, reports the Ritzaus Bureau.

At the same time, Modi urged to stop the hostilities in Ukraine and choose the path of diplomacy. The journalists also said that the head of the Indian government did not criticize the Russian military mission.

Former Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz invited Indian politicians to take part in G7 events. It is known that the authorities ignored German offer.
