De Zerbi is a candidate for the post of coach of Olympiacos

The Greek football club Olympiacos may appoint the Italian ex-coach of Shakhtar Donetsk Roberto De Zerbi as the new head coach of the team from Piraeus.

The club flew out of the Champions League, losing in qualification to the Israeli “Maccabi” from Haifa (1:1, 0:4), and the Portuguese Pedro Martins, probably will leave the post head coach of the Greek team, Ukrinform reports.

Olympiacos already has options with coaches from England and Spain, but the club’s management likes the option of inviting De Zerbi the most. He came with Shakhtar to Piraeus for a charity match in April.

Currently, the Italian specialist is without a club.
