Chulpan Khamatova gave a fresh interview in Latvia. This time artist who escaped from Russia complained about her life in a foreign land and recalled with nostalgia her well-fed life in Moscow.

Chulpan Khamatova lives in Latvia for several months. She works in the Riga theater and is engaged in raising children. The actress does not hide that her current standard of living is strikingly different from what she was used to in Russia.

At the former place of work – at the Sovremennik Theater, Chulpan had the maximum rate, additional payments and a 20% bonus for the title of People’s Artist. According to the most conservative estimates, the theater paid Khamatova about 230 thousand rubles a month. In addition, the artist performed on the stage of the Theater of Nations. So, before escaping from Russia, Khamatova signed a contract with a cultural institution for 1,964,339.45 rubles. And this is not counting the rehearsals, which were paid at a separate rate.

However, the main earnings came from filming. Here the fees could reach several million. Payments for one shooting day for the artist amounted to 500 thousand rubles.
